Powder Process Planning Guide
Start with the ingredient quantities, required product result and available production time. This guide helps a buyer turn those requirements into a brief that equipment suppliers can review consistently. It is not a standard machine specification or a performance guarantee.
Use one row per ingredient in your own spreadsheet. If a property has not been measured, mark it as unknown instead of filling in an assumed value.
Record the material name, bulk-density range and measurement basis, particle-size information, moisture range, incoming package and storage conditions. Attach available material data sheets.
Record the smallest and largest quantity per batch, recipe frequency, and acceptable deviation in mass units. If using a percentage tolerance, state what quantity that percentage refers to.
Describe bridging, inconsistent discharge, dust escape or residue seen in your current process. A short video of the actual material flowing is more useful than an unsupported label such as easy-flowing.
Describe the mixing objective, liquid additions, unacceptable carryover, cleaning method and required access. Supply safety data and site requirements for review by the responsible specialists.
A total batch weight does not describe the range of ingredient additions. The following arithmetic example illustrates why the ingredient sheet matters; these are not Zhongke equipment specifications.

The largest addition in this example is 425 times the smallest. Ask the supplier to explain how both ends of that range will be handled. Do not assume that a scale suitable for the total batch will satisfy the additive requirement.
Make the tolerance unambiguous. If an illustrative requirement is 2 kg with a tolerance of plus or minus 1% of that ingredient target, the allowed deviation is plus or minus 0.02 kg (20 g). That is different from 1% of the total batch or 1% of a scale's full range. The achievable tolerance still requires equipment selection and testing.
List the time required to load or refill, dose, settle and confirm weight, transfer, mix, discharge and reset. Identify operations that can genuinely overlap and those that must wait. Do not simply add overlapping tasks or use mixing time alone.
This example assumes uninterrupted operation with one completed batch every 20 minutes. It excludes downtime, cleaning, rejected material and other losses; it is not a promised production rate. Compare the proposed sequence with the usable shift time and the downstream receiving capacity.
For each operation, write down its start condition, expected duration, completion signal and what happens if the next machine is not ready. That makes the controls discussion specific rather than asking only for automatic operation.
Show bag or bulk delivery points, horizontal distances, elevation changes, transfer destinations and the equipment already installed. Add access routes and usable building height.
Conveying interface optionsIdentify the weighing location, plant vibration sources, extraction connections and required utilities. Ask how feeder refill and connected equipment will affect the weighing arrangement.

Keep unresolved inputs in a visible assumptions list. A proposal based on unknown material behavior should state what must be confirmed by samples or trials before the design is finalized.
Mark it as unknown and provide available samples and supplier data. Agree how the relevant property will be measured before using it to select vessel volume or equipment size.
Also provide the batch-size range, recipe changes, usable production time and downstream destination. The same hourly target can lead to different operating sequences.
State the target quantity, allowed deviation, measurement basis and conditions under which it must be achieved. Define the smallest addition as carefully as the largest.
Not automatically. Ask for a review of the actual addition range, required tolerance and cycle time. A separate range or dosing route is an option to evaluate, not a universal rule.
Provide its working-volume information, inlet and discharge drawings, cycle sequence and controls. Compatibility must be checked against the proposed feeding and downstream arrangements.
Send the ingredient sheet, recipe ranges, target output, site sketch, existing equipment and unresolved questions. You do not need to invent missing values to begin a discussion.
