Can equipment from different manufacturers be integrated?

Yes. The integration scope should define mechanical connections, electrical signals, control responsibility, documentation and performance boundaries for each supplied package.

How is the capacity of a complete line determined?

Use a material balance that includes peak flow, cycle time, buffer volume, refill, transfer and discharge. The slowest practical duty normally limits the line.

Can a line be delivered in phases?

Yes, when future structural loads, space, utility capacity, control I/O and connection points are reserved during the first design stage.
